I don’t get this at all

I just saw the pilot / first episode of Grimm.

(sigh) Would someone please explain to me why NBC bought this woeful, dull,  predictable thing instead of Ron Moore’s Precinct 17?

GACK.

I’ll give it one more episode… but somehow I don’t think things are going to get much better.

I had the exact same reaction!!!!!!!! I saw the pilot of Grimm and thought it was terrible, long before I found out that Precinct 17 was the other option for that time slot. I am still mad!
